The glass work lathe is the main equipment for the manufacture of glass apparatus. The glass work lathe also refer to special lathes for welding or other hot working of glass products. The difference from a conventional machined lathe is that it has a chuck that can hold the quartz tube to rotate synchronously and a flame lamp that can move back and forth.
